| Finding An Apartment |
Searching for an apartment
on Apartment Soup is easy.
- From the home page, choose your
desired state and click the "Go" button.
- On the option page, enter your
criteria to help filter out apartments you do not desire to see and click the
"Search" button.
- If there are properties which meet your criteria, browse through the listings. If you find an apartment which is of interest to you, click on the apartment name link to you to display more details (Zoom In).

If there is more than one page of listings, click on "Next" to go to the next page of listings, or "Previous" to go to the previous page. You may also sort the listings by any one of the feature headings. To do this, click the feature heading link at the top of the list of properties. When you do this, the apartments which have that feature will move up to the top of the list. Each time you click the same feature heading, it toggles it in the sort list (from on to off, or vise versa). You may sort up to 9 features.

To Add Your Property To Apartment Soup, Follow These Steps:

From any of Apartment Soup's pages, click the "Add Apartment" link on the left hand menu.

Enter your apartment name and password in the corresponding fields. Please note that the apartment name is not case sensitive, while the password is case sensitive. Select the state in which your property resides. Choose the "New Apartment" radio choice, and click the "Continue" button.

Enter all required information in the provided entry form. Note that you must have at least one unit type entered with your property (You may have more than one). For example, you must enter information on a studio, one bedroom, two bedroom, or three bedroom unit, with your property listing.
To include a unit type with your property, select the corresponding "Unit Type" checkbox. If you select unit features for a unit type that is not selected (checked), that unit type (e.g. one bedroom), and all of its features, will not be added to our system.
Click the "Continue" button to review the information you have entered. Follow any instructions that are displayed. If you have problems or difficulties, please e-mail our staff.

Review the information you have supplied. If everything looks correct, click the "Continue" button to save the information. If some information is not correct, click the "Back" button on your browser, and make corrections. Follow any instructions that are displayed. If you have problems or difficulties, please e-mail our staff.

Pending any issues, you property will be activated within 3 business days, once successfully saved. If our staff found issues with the listing, the supplied contact person will be notified by our staff.
To Modify Your Property Listing Already In Apartment Soup, Follow These Steps:

From any of Apartment Soup's pages, click the "Add Apartment" link on the left hand menu.

Enter the apartment name and your chosen password in the corresponding fields. Please note that the apartment name is not case sensitive, while the password is case sensitive. Select the state in which your property resides. Choose the "Modify Apartment" radio choice, and click the "Continue" button.

Modify any of the modifiable fields, and click the "Continue" button for verification of information. Follow any instructions that are displayed. If you have problems or difficulties, please e-mail our staff.

Property changes take effect immediately after successfully changed.

Listing your apartment on Apartment Soup is Completely FREE!
Once the property information is reviewed and activated, it will be active for 1 year. The property listing may be de-activated and re-actived, on-line, under your control, throughout the life of the listing (FREE!). If you have further questions regarding this topic, please drop us a line! |

| Affiliate Information |

- Contact Apartment Soup via e-mail at: affiliate@apartmentsoup.com.
- Once the cooperative effort has been established, create a link to Apartment Soup (This can be done with a banner, a link, or however you chose).
- For every property that signs up with Apartment Soup, you earn 10% of the property contract value.

Apartment Soup offers the ability to have our staff, or our external services, search for an apartment for you. This is a great feature for people who don't have the time to browse, or you can't find what you are looking for. Apartment Soup's Custom Search feature is free and simple to use.
- From any of Apartment Soup's pages, click the "Custom Search" link on the left hand menu. Note: You will also be directed to this page if you are searching for a property, and nothing matched your criteria.
- Choose your desired state and click the "Continue" button.
- You will either see icons representing independant services that Apartment Soup has partnered with (Again this is all free to you); or you will be sent directly to the entry form. If you encounter the first scenario, choose an appropriate service.
- Fill out the entry form and click the "Submit" button. Follow any instructions that are displayed. If you have problems or difficulties, please e-mail our staff.

| Contacting The Property |
If you require more information than is maintained in Apartment Soup about a particular property, you may contact them via the Property Contact Form. This feature is free and easy to use.
- When you zoom in on a particular property, (See How To "Zoom In" On An Apartment.), you will notice a "Contact Apartment" link. Click on this link.
- Fill out the entry form and click the "Submit" button. Follow any instructions that are displayed. If you have problems or difficulties, please e-mail our staff.
- Your information will be faxed or e-mailed to the appropriate contact within three hours. Note: We do not have control over the response to your request. However Apartment Soup has asked that each property respond within 3 business days. If you are experiencing slow response, please e-mail our staff at: crt@apartmentsoup.com. Please include the property name, and the state in which that property resides, in your message.
